To apply for the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission Process, applicants are advised to fulfil the following eligibility norms.

Age Limit:

· There is no age limit.

· To get admission into Marine Engineering courses, applicants should not exceed 25 years.

Educational Criteria:

· Students must have passed 10+2 from any recognized board.

· Have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

· Scored at least 45% marks (General) and 40% marks ((Backward class including backward class Muslims, MBC & DNC, and SC/SCA/ST).

· Marine engineering students have passed 12^th in PCM with 60% marks and 50% marks in English.

General Eligibility

· Students who have passed 8^th, 9^th, 10^th, 11^th & 12^th from Tamil Nadu are not required to submit any nativity proof.

· If they have completed the above classes from states other than Tamil Nadu, they must submit a nativity certificate.

· Children of Central Government employees can apply for the admission process for which the guardian/parents have been serving in the state of Tamil Nadu continuously for the last 5 years.

· Applicants must submit proof of parents’ employment if their parents are employed under All India Service Tamil Nadu cadre officers.

· Any Sri Lankan Tamil Refugee applicant must submit identification certificate.

After fulfilling all the eligibility criteria, the user can easily apply by submitting the application form by following the steps below:

Select “Apply Online”.
Then, click “Proceed.”
Fill out the application form online.
Upload scanned photographs and signatures.
Review the filled application form and proceed to pay the TNEA fee.
Click the “Submit” button.
Take a printout of the filled form and payment receipt for future reference.

TNEA 2024 Counselling

Once candidates’ names appear in the rank list, they will be called for the counselling process. They must log into the portal by entering their user ID and Password.

The counselling will be done in four rounds: allotment, confirmation of allotment, choice filling, and reporting to the college.

After filling in the preferences, applicants need to pay the counselling fee. When counselling, students need to carry their original documents for verification.
