Students can fill out the online form for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) 2025 at tneaonline.org to pay the registration fee of Rs 500. Before going to apply for this exam, candidates must fulfil their TNEA 2025 eligibility criteria, which comprise various information, including age, educational qualification, and other requirements to set a proper merit list for admission.
Note: Apart from 10+2 performance, to appear for the TNEA 2025 Exam, you will not be required to appear in any entrance examination.

TNEA 2025 Eligibility Criteria:
To apply for the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission Process, applicants are advised to fulfil the following eligibility norms.

· To get admission into Marine Engineering courses, applicants should not exceed 25 years. |

· Students must have passed 10+2 from any recognized board.
· Have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. · Scored at least 45% marks (General) and 40% marks ((Backward class including backward class Muslims, MBC & DNC, and SC/SCA/ST). · Marine engineering students have passed 12th in PCM with 60% marks and 50% marks in English. |
| General Eligibility

· Students who have passed 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th & 12th from Tamil Nadu are not required to submit any nativity proof.
· If they have completed the above classes from states other than Tamil Nadu, they must submit a nativity certificate. · Children of Central Government employees can apply for the admission process for which the guardian/parents have been serving in the state of Tamil Nadu continuously for the last 5 years. · Applicants must submit proof of parents’ employment if their parents are employed under All India Service Tamil Nadu cadre officers. · Any Sri Lankan Tamil Refugee applicant must submit identification certificate. |
TNEA Exam 2025 Application Form
After fulfilling all the eligibility criteria, the user can easily apply by submitting the application form by following the steps below:
- Visit edu.
- Click “TNEA” on the homepage.
- Select “Apply Online”.
- Then, click “Proceed.”
- Fill out the application form online.
- Upload scanned photographs and signatures.
- Review the filled application form and proceed to pay the TNEA fee.
- Click the “Submit” button.
- Take a printout of the filled form and payment receipt for future reference.

If you are going to fill out the online registration form and belong to the general categories, then you have to pay the application fee online using a credit card, debit card, or net banking. Remember that the submitted fee is non-refundable.

TNEA 2025 Counselling
Once candidates’ names appear in the rank list, they will be called for the counselling process. They must log into the portal by entering their user ID and Password.
The counselling will be done in four rounds: allotment, confirmation of allotment, choice filling, and reporting to the college.
After filling in the preferences, applicants need to pay the counselling fee. When counselling, students need to carry their original documents for verification.
