NEET EXAM 2024: Conducting Body

How to Check NEET Result?
To check your NEET result link, you need to follow the following procedures:
- Visit the official NTA website.
- Click ‘View Results.’
- Here, enter application number, date of birth, password, and security pin.
- Once done, scorecard will appear on the screen.

NEET Exam Merit List
- 15% AQI Merit List:
- Candidates who cleared the NEET exam appear on this list.
- The Medical Counselling Committee creates this list.
- Overall Merit List:
- This list displays candidates’ names and ranks, compiled by the NTA.
- It serves as the final ranking for all applicants and is shared with national and state counseling bodies.
- State Quota Merit List:
- Each state prepares this list for 85% of its quota seats.
- Only candidates qualifying NEET UG and registering for respective state counselling can be featured on this list.
NEET 2024 COUNSELLING
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) arranges NEET counselling based on 2024 scores. 15% of government college seats and 100% for certain universities are covered. State counselling manages the remaining 85% of seats.
NEET AIQ counselling 2024 happens in four rounds: Round 1, Round 2, mop-up, and stray vacancies. Seats are based on choices, rank, availability, and reservations. The process involves registration, course selection, and fee payment.
Applicants eligible for NEET 2024 All India Quota can take part. Unfilled seats after round two return to respective states. NEET counselling 2024 AIQ includes:
- 15% of MBBS/BDS Seats in States
- All India Quota seats at AMU/DU/VMMC/ABVIMS
- All India Quota Seats at Faculty of Dentistry (Jamia Millia Islamia)
- All India Quota Seats at ESIC
- 100% of MBBS/BDS Seats at BHU
- 100% of MBBS Seats at AIIMS nationwide
- All India Quota of JIPMER (Puducherry/ Karaikal)
Documents required for NEET Counselling
On the counselling day, candidates are required to carry some critical NEET documents with them for verification purposes. Students should prepare these NEET 2024 documents in advance as they cannot afford to miss out on any of the documents.
- NEET admit card and scorecard
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- Provisional allotment letter
- Class 10th and 12th certificate and mark sheet
- ID proof (Passport/PAN Card/Aadhar)
- Eight passport-size photographs
- PwD certificate (if applicable)
