Other DetailsGate Exam Dates 2025 notification is out! The notification came around July to August last year. Moreover, the exam dates are also released. The exam will start from Feburary 1 2025 and will continue till February 16, 2025. The actual exam dates are as follow: February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025.
This year, the IIT Roorkee will conduct the GATE Exam 2025. Every year, IIT conducts the exam in different zones – probably in 8 zones. Last year, the exam was conducted by IIT Kanpur.
Besides, the admit card is also released for different papers of GATE Examination 2025 by IIT Roorkee. The admit card was released on 7 January 2025.

GATE 2025 Notification
Earlier in 2025, the GATE notification was released on 23rd July. It was informing about the GATE 2025 exam. Before one month of releasing GATE, a notication came and it was about newly-launched website. On 12th September, the information brochure about GATE examination released, containing everything about the exam.
Afterwards, in January 1, 2025 a new notification came out in which the announcement of admit card was mentioned. The notification conveys the message that admit card will be made available from 7 January 2025.
When the exam completes successfully, the authority will release the notification about GATE Result 2025. We will notify you about the result as soon as it is released.

Examination Pattern Of GATE
There is an exam of twenty-seven subjects for the GATE Examination. Please note that the applicant is allowed to appear in only 1 paper in any 1 session.
Total Number of Questions – Sixty Five
Total Marks – 100
Negative Marking – There will be a deduction of one-third of the marks for one-mark questions and for two-mark questions there will deduction of two-thirds marks.
In question papers of AG, CE, AE, CH, BT, EC, CS, IN, ME, EE, MN, MT, TF, PE, PI & XE will contain a subject question, engineering mathematics, and general aptitude questions.
Meanwhile, the question papers of XL, GG, PH, EY, AR, CY, ST, EY, and MA will contain subject questions and General Aptitude.

- First, visit the official site or GOAPS portal, and then, candidates will be required to completer their GATE registration process by submitting all the mandatory details.

- After that, upload scanned images of requisite documents.
