The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the notification for the CSIR UGC NET Exam 2024 on its official website, providing information about the exam date and other details. The last date to apply is 21 May 2024. After that, payment can be made until 23rd May, up to 11:50 PM. The CSIR UGC NET Exam date 2024 is 25, 26, and 27 June 2024. The test will be conducted in CBT (computer-based test) mode.
This examination is conducted to shortlist candidates for Junior Research Fellows and Lectureship/Assistant Professor posts in various Indian Colleges and Universities.

The candidates must have an M.Sc. / Integrated BS-MS / BS-4 years / BE / B. Tech / B.Pharma / MBBS degree. Candidates in the General/OBC and SC/ST/PWD categories should have obtained 55% and 50%, respectively.
Also, in some cases, there has to be minimum 75% marks in 4 years graduation. In this, there is a relaxation of 5% marks for reserved categories.
