Students can fill up the CMAT application in November and will receive the admit card after mid-December every year. Also, checking the eligibility criteria before applying for the CMAT examination is important.
If you are found to be ineligible after applying for the examination, then you will be terminated from appearing for the exams.
The candidate should be an Indian citizen to apply for this examination. This examination is conducted to select students for master’s courses.

CMAT 2024 Application form
The CMAT examination consists of 4 sections with 25 questions each. So, there will be a total of 100 questions in the examination. Each correct answer will reward you 4 marks; however, 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
Candidates will see questions from Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Language Comprehension, Logical Reasoning, and General Awareness.
There will be a time limit of 3 hours to submit the CMAT examination. If you cannot complete your exam within the given time limit, then it will inevitably get submitted.

CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2024
Before filling out the application form or do once read the eligibility criteria if, in any examination process, you are found ineligible, then you will be terminated from the whole process.
- The applicants must have Indian citizenship.
- The candidates must have done completed Graduation from a recognized university/institute.
- The candidates in the final year of Graduation and whose result is declared before starting the admission process are also eligible.
CMAT 2024 Registration Process
The registration process for the CMAT exam is going to be online. For students who are willing to be admitted to this exam, then there is good news for them the CMAT 2024 application form will be released soon on the official website of NTA. Students can fill out the online application form to appear in the exam. The CMAT Registration 2024 cum Application process will consist of the following steps:
- Firstly, students have to register online by entering the required details like name, date of birth, email id, and phone number
- Then just need to create a CMAT account and User ID by confirming the registration through OTP/E-mail
- Then fill CMAT 2024 application by submitting personal and academic details
- After filling in all the details, students have to upload the required documents like passport size photographs, scanned signatures in the prescribed format
- Finally, the final student has to pay the CMAT 2024 registration fee through a credit/debit card or internet banking
CMAT Admission Process 2024
To get selected, students have to follow a minimum of 3 rounds, including Group Discussions and Personal interviews. Most management institutes conduct Group Discussions (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI) to select candidates for MBA/PGDM programs after declaring CMAT exam results.
Each institute conducts admission independently and according to its academic cycle. Candidates must fill out their preferred institutes’ admission forms to be eligible for the selection process. There are three main stages involved in MBA admission through CMAT:
- Students going for shortlisting on the basis of CMAT score
- Group discussion and personal interview round, maybe a second round
- Final Selection for MBA Admission

CMAT 2024 exam will be held in a single shift from 3 PM to 6 PM in more than 124 cities all over India as an online computer-based test.
