Admission Process

The admission process at Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology is conducted according to the course that the students want to pursue. If students want to do B. Tech then has to follow the JEE Mains and the JEE Advanced exams conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). • MNNIT Allahabad BTech admission is conducted based on JEE Main rank followed by JoSAA counselling
• Under the Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) scheme, international students are admitted to the B.Tech program.

For PG courses

• To get admission to an MTech program, students must follow a GATE score followed by CCMT counselling.
• Selection for part-time MTech is based on the MNNIT Entrance Test, followed by a Personal Interview (PI) round conducted by the Deemed University.
• Admission to the MCA program will be based on marks obtained in NIMS
• For admission to the MSc program, a valid score in IIT JAM is required
• Candidates are required to attend CCMN counselling
• Admission to the MBA course is based on the marks obtained in CAT, followed by group discussions and personal interviews (GD & PI) conducted by the Deemed University.

For PhD courses

Students will be able to get admission to the PhD program as per the performance in the PI written test conducted by MNNIT.
