  • A.LL.B. (Hons.)- Five-Year Programme: 110+10 Seats
  • LLM – One-Year Programme: 70+10 Seats

AILET Eligibility Criteria 2024

B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) – Five Year Programme: Must have a 10+2 certificate or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% of marks. Those who are appearing in the 12th standard examination in March/ April 2024 are also eligible to apply for this course.

Foreign National Candidates must have secured 65% marks in their qualifying examination.

LLM – One-Year Programme: To apply for this exam then students must have possessed an LL.B. or an Equivalent Degree with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/ PWD).  If you are one of those who are appearing in the final LL.B. examination in April/ May 2024 then you are also eligible to apply for this course.
Ph.D. To be part of this exam students must have an LL.M. Degree with 55% marks or its equivalent (50% for SC/ ST/ PWD).

  • Total Marks: A total of 100 marks/ paper is prescribed for students
  • Marking Scheme: Yes, Negative Marking is given in this exam. For the wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
  • B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) Paper Structure:
  • No. of Questions: A total of 100 Questions will be in the exam
  • Type of Questions: there will be Multiple Choice Questions in the exam
  • Time Duration: Total 1 hour 30 minutes duration prescribed for examination
  • Duration of the Examination: 1 hour 30 minutes
  • Marking Scheme: for every incorrect answer 0.25 marks will be deducted
