Admission Process
The admission process for various courses at Delhi Technological University will be conducted according to its entrance exams. Students need to qualify entrance exams so that they can be selected accordingly. Check course-wise entrance one has to clear to get a seat in DTU:
- For admission to UG, students must clear the JEE (Advanced) entrance exam or JEE Main. Admission to UG courses is based on the JEE Advanced score card.
- The exam dates for DTU admission has been published and it is scheduled to held between May 14 to May 31, 2024. However, DTU Admission 2024 is expected to start in the month of June 2024.
- For PG admission, the candidate must clear the GATE entrance exam.
- For MBA admission, the candidate must qualify for the CAT entrance exam.
- The students must fulfill all the eligibility criteria framed under the admission guidelines.

In 2022, DTU recorded 89% placement, there was a substantial increase of 43% from 2021. The median package also increased by 23% from 202. Also, in 2023, 1635 offers were made with the placement of 1499 students.
The highest package offered to MBA (USME) was INR 23.78 LPA, whilst MTech graduates were offered the highest package of INR 51.03 LPA. Moreover, the average package offered to MBA (USME) was INR 9.02 LPA, and the average package offered to MTech was INR 26.96 LPA.
